Our ‘chemicals’? Four essential oils.
An herbal quartet; peppermint, chamomile, clove and salvia the main stars. A perfect symphony that gets the job done and tastes unwaveringly great.
Salvia oil is an anti-microbial ingredient, working overtime to keep your breath fresh. Clove oil is an anti-inflammant, same as mint. A few drops of orange oil for good measure provide the toothpaste with its signature flavor.
Key ingredients
Birch sugar
Also known as xylitol. Reduces dental plaque and boosts salivation, helping fight bacteria and candidosis, contributing to a generally better and more balanced oral microbiome with a stable pH. Basically a modern substitute for fluoride.
Essential oils
Salvia, clove and orange with a helping of the usual peppermint. The four man operation reduces morning mouth burn, unlike most other toothpastes. Plus—they’re pretty good on the taste buds. An affordable dental premium you can literally taste.
Bentonite
The tiny mineral clay parts gently scrub the tooth enamel and make short work of surface discoloration from drinking coffee, tea and wine. Does a great job absorbing bacteria and toxins while restoring the proper pH of the mouth. Also the reason why the Red Orangerie has a much more believable, grounded color compared to other brands.

Application
The opening of the Red Orangerie tube is slightly smaller than on other toothpastes, allowing you to actually dispense a pea-sized amount onto your toothbrush, splash with water and start brushing. You might notice that our toothpaste produces less foam than most others, and that’s kind of the point. Less show, more work getting done.
Results
We’re feeling a moral obligation to tell you that the Red Orangerie might make your oral hygiene process a bit more addictive. A better, cleaner feeling with improved results could have you switch to a three-point „breakfast—lunch—dinner“ schedule, instead of the usual 2 times a day.
Not a thing wrong with that—apart from using up a full tube a little faster than in the expected 2 months or so. No routine. Just rituals.
